Poursuite du démontage et des découpes de ce nouveau projet Blue 68 :
La reprise en main de la remise en état d’une cox 68′ démarrée “ailleur” (chez quelqu’un qu’un ami avait conseillé au propriétaire)
Au programme aujourd’hui : Découpes et soudures des nouvelles tôles à l’avant de la voiture
La réparation est beaucoup plus importante à droite qu’à gauche … c’est bien visible sur les photos
Et comme prévu on conserve un maximum du longeron d’origine …
Le tout est ressoudé en place, bien plus proprement qu’avant … et sans laisser de la rouille dessous !

The takeover of the restoration of a ’68 beetle started “somewhere” (from someone that a friend had recommended to the owner)
On the program today : Cuts and welds new parts on the front of the car
Repair is much more important right than left … This is clearly visible in the pictures
And as expected it retains a maximum of the original heather channels on the car …
Everything is welded in place, more properly than before … and without any rust underneath !
