Voici les dernières news de la cox “tout terrain” de Pat en vue de sa participation au Libya Rallye 2016.
Le précédent post était consacré au montage à blanc des éléments de carrosserie polyester et à de la mécanique
On poursuis aujourd’hui avec le montage des portes et ailes polyester après leur passage en carrosserie
Comme annoncé, bye bye les vitres latérales … Bonjour les filets de protection DIEST
En attendant l’arrivée de la boite 5, montage et tests de la boite de vitesse de remplacement
(Une boite 4 vitesses avec rapports de 3e et 4e raccourcis et différentiel ZF )
Vous retrouverez aussi les photos du montage final du radiateur externe avec ventilateur,
du réservoir d’essence supplémentaire (Pour satisfaire à l’autonomie exigée lors de certaines étapes)
et celles du séparateur d’eau et des pompes à essence FACET qui ont été déplacés dans le flanc arrière droit
Comme annoncé dans le précédent post, la prochaine étape sera probablement le montage de la boite 5 …

Now we follow with the installation of fiberglass doors and wings after passageway in body shop
As announced, “bye bye” the side windows … “Hello” DIEST Window safety nets
While awaiting the arrival of the 5-speed gearbox, installation (for tests) of the “replacement” gearbox
(A 4-speed gearbox with 3rd and 4th shortened ratios and ZF differential)
You will also find pictures of the final assembly of the external cooler with fan,
the additional fuel tank (To satisfy the required autonomy in some rally stages)
and those of the fuel-water separator and the two FACET fuel pumps that have been moved in the right rear
“As say in the previous post”, the next step will probably be the mounting of the 5-speed gearbox …
