Le chantier est déjà bien entamé, la voiture à déjà été démontée …
La caisse est partie en carrosserie se refaire une beauté et réparer les petits accrocs du raid précédent.
La boite de vitesse démontée en vue d’être transformée en boite 5 vitesses à l’aide d’un kit Berg.
Le moteur démonté et révisé après ces 6.000 km de route et de pistes,
le but étant d’en profiter pour gagner quelques chevaux en gardant cette configuration en carburateur central.
Placement d’un arbre à cames plus méchant, augmentation de la taille des venturi,
Augmentation du rapport volumétrique (malgré la mauvaise qualité de l’essence locale).
Là, le moteur est déjà remonté et a déjà réalisé son premier tour de chauffe.
On en reparle ensemble en 2016 dès que l’on s’attaque aux trains roulants …
