Voici quelques photos des travaux en cours sur le projet Karmann 66 de rallye …
2e partie du sujet consacré au placement des deux radiateurs d’huile avec ventilateur dans les contre ailes avants.
Les 2 canaux de la face avant qui amenaient de l’air à l’habitacle avaient été proprement ouverts .
Le flux d’air sera divisé en 2 … une partie pour l’aération de l’habitacle, une partie (plus importante)pour les radiateurs.
Réalisation et montage à blanc des supports des 2 radiateurs, fermeture des canaux d’air modifiés, et création de tôles forçant l’air à passer par les radiateurs.
Suivis de près par la création de tôles de protection à louvers pour les projections des roues.
On démonte le tout … pour la peinture de la carrosserie et des supports
Et on termine avec la réalisation de la tuyauterie d’huile et du circuit électrique, puis le remontage final …
La suite très prochainement … il reste un peu de temps avant le départ du 6ème Pekin to Paris Challenge

2nd part of the subject devoted to the placement of two fan-assisted oil cooler fixed inside of the two front wings
The two channels of the front face, which moved air in the passenger compartment had properly open
The air flow is thus divided into two part … a part for cabin air, a part for coolers
The two cooler supports was made and dry built
The air channels were then closed and the plates holding the air volume around coolers made and fixed
Closely followed by creation and setting of the louvered air box to protect coolers from wheels projections
It dismantles all … for the protection and painting of the bodywork and brackets
And ends with the realization of the oil piping and electrical system and the final assembly …
