Voilà un nouveau produit qui intéressera les possesseurs de bus “Bay Window” (et uniquement eux!).
Une tôle de réparation de baie de pare-brise pour tous les combi de 1968 à 1979.
Elle reprend le profil du joint de pare-brise et la partie bombée (9 cm) de tôle sous le pare-brise (le bourrelet).
Les dégâts occasionnés par la rouille à cet endroit sont monnaie courante sur ce modèle,
surtout sur les combis qui ont subi une météo défavorable au quotidien pendant 40 ans.
Il existait déjà un profilé ( livré et illustré ici en 3 parties ) qui permettait de réparer la tôle sous le joint.
Voilà maintenant de quoi vous aider à traiter ce défaut courant sur les Bay’ … quand les dégâts sont plus étendus
Pour les cas “désespérés” : nous proposons aussi la face avant complète et des tôles de réparation de bas de face.

A under the windshield sheet metal repair panel for all VW “Bay Window” bus from ’68 to ’79 models
It incorporates the profile of the windscreen seal and the bulging portion (3,5 inch) under the windscreen (the bead)
This type of damage caused by rust at this point is a known problem on this model
especially on the bus that have suffered bad weather every day for 40 years
There was already a repair profile (shown here in 3 parts) that allowed to repair the metal profile under the seal.
Now that’s what help you deal with this almost common defect … when the rust damage is more extensive
For “desperate” case : we offer also the full front face plate and repair sheet metal parts of the bottom of the face
