Sixième et dernière partie de ce projet consacré aux travaux de tôlerie sur “the ’72 Kansas beige project“
Pour lequel nous avions reçu du client les différents éléments du projet qu’il avait démarré: la caisse et le châssis.
Dans le précédent épisode, les travaux de tôlerie sur la caisse étaient terminés.
Ce dernier post concernera donc le châssis qui avait été démonté il y a quelques semaines et était parti au sablage.
Nous le récupérons une fois qu’il a été sablé, métalisé et passé à l’époxy.
Un passage au nettoyeur haute pression dans le tunnel pour le débarrasser du sable qui y reste toujours logé.
Et une fois qu’il est bien sec, nous nous attaquons au remontage de la mécanique sur le châssis.
Voilà, c’est terminé pour nous … elle est prête à partir, la suite est dans les mains de son propriétaire

We received from the client the different elements of the project that had started: the body and the chassis.
In the previous episode, sheet metal work on the body were completed
So this last post will concern the frame that was removed a few weeks ago and was left to sandblasting
We recover once it has been sandblasted, metallized and passed epoxy
A passage with high pressure cleaner in the tunnel to get rid of the sand that there is still housed
And once it is dry, we deal with reassembly the mechanics on the chassis
Well, it’s over for us … she is ready to go, the rest is in the hands of its owner
