Dans le post précédent, ïl était question du remplacement du coin arrière gauche …
Aujourd’hui c’est au tour du coin arrière droit …
Après avoir découpé l’ancien panneau et réalisé quelques petites réparations à la traverse interne
On s’attaque au remplacement de la partie “externe” de ce coin arrière gauche
La tôle de réparation (coin complet) est ajusté et recoupé à la dimension nécessaire pour cette réparation
elle est ensuite protégée, pointée et soudée en place …
Vous aurez remarqué la qualité des réparations effectuées avant sur le coin droit : rien de visible de l’extérieur !
Mais vu de l’intérieur, c’est la technique du gruyère … on perce la tôle pour que l’épais mastic accroche bien !
Pas besoin de débosseler ou de tirer … on mastique par dessus : c’est plus rapide (et moins couteux !)
Le prochain épisode … devrait encore être consacré à l’arrière … cela se termine !

In the previous post, it was the replacement of the rear left corner panel
Today it is the turn of the right rear corner …
After cutting the old panel and made some minor repairs to the internal crossmember
we attack the replacement of the “external” part of the left rear corner
The repair panel (full area) is adjusted and recut to the size necessary for this repair
it is then protected, spot welded and welded in place …
You will notice the quality of repairs carried out before on the right corner : nothing visible from the outside!
But from inside … its the swiss cheese technique : it pierces the sheet metal so that the thick putty hangs well !
Not need bumping or pull back the panel … chewed over the damage : it’s faster (and cheaper!)
The next episode … should still be spent in the back … it ends!
