Je pense que ce n’est plus un mystère pour personne, la presse écrite, radio et télévisée nous en a assez parlé.
VW “Brazil” a annoncé qu’ils arrêtaient la production du Kombi … détenant un record de longévité de production de 56 ans !
La presse suit ce qu’annonce VW et ne semble pas avoir vu les changements opérés par VW entre les premiers Bus “Split-window” nés en 1952, les bus “Bay-window” nés en 1967 et le Kombi Brésilien actuel!
( Pour nous, la production du premier combi s’était déjà arrêtée en 1967 et celui du BayWindow en 1979 ! )
Pour l’occasion la RTBF nous a rendu visite et a réalisé un petit sujet pour le journal de 13h.

VW “Brazil” has announced that it stopped the production of the Kombi … holding a production longevity record of 56 years!
The press follows what announces VW and does not seem to have seen the changes made by VW between the first “split-window” bus born in 1952, the “Bay window” bus born in 1967 and the current Brazilian Kombi!
(For us, the first Combi production had already stopped in 1967 and the production of the BayWindow stopped in 1979 ! )
For the occasion RTBF (Belgian Television) had visited us and made a subject for the 13h00 newscast

“Last Edition” 56 anos Kombi … limitée à 600 exemplaires et vendue à 85.000 real Brésilien (27.000 euro)
Alors que le modèle de base “en blanc” ne vaut que 50.000 real Brésilien (16.000 euro)
(quand je dis de base, c’est que le kombi n’est vendu qu’en une couleur … et il n’y a pas d’option au catalogue)
Avec un moteur 1.4L Total Flex “watercooled” (carburant Essence ou Ethanol) 80CV (essence) et 78CV (ethanol)

“Last Edition” 56 anos Kombi … limited to 600 units and sold 85,000 Brazilian real (27,000 euro).
While the base model “in white” is only 50,000 Brazilian real (16,000 euro).
(when I say base model, it’s that the kombi is only available in one color … and there are no options in the catalog).
With a Watercooled Total Flex 1.4L engine (gasoline or ethanol fuel) 80HP on gasoline and 78HP with ethanol.
I’ll let you only judge on the nice mix of colors and the judicious choice of options made by VW Brazil for this very last edition.
