Septième partie de ce projet consacré à la restauration d’un Bus Bay Window 74.
Le 6e épisode était consacré au remplacement du bas de panneau gauche jusqu’au passage de roue arrière
Aujourd’hui on met à nu l’arrière du combi et on s’occupe de la renfort de la jupe arrière.
On y retrouve des traces d’une précédente réparation … et du travail de la rouille
Découpe des parties endommagées, mise en forme, ajustement et soudure des pièces fabriquées
On traite le tout et on referme en ajustant et pointant la jupe arrière en place …
Et on termine pour aujourd’hui avec le remplacement d’un morceau de bas d’aile arrière.
La suite au prochain épisode … et pas de doutes, on parlera toujours de tôlerie …
Seventh part of this project dedicated to the restoration of a ’74 Bay Window Bus.
The 6th episode was dedicated to the bottom of the left side panel replacement
Today we put the back of the bus to bare metal and work on the rear skirt reinforcement.
We find traces of a previous repair … and work the rust
Cutting of damaged parts, shaping, fitting and welding of home made sheet metal parts
Treat the whole and close by adjusting and pointing up the rear apron.
And ends for today with the replacement of a part of low rear wing.
The next episode … and no doubt, we always talk about sheet metal …
